LinkLocal is a South African directory of verified local service businesses. Searching is completely free for customers. Our only revenue comes from the monthly or annual subscription paid by the businesses that want to be listed.
For customers — always free
No account required, no booking fees, no commission. You deal with the business directly.
Set your location
Enter your town or drop a pin on the map, then choose how far you're willing to look — from 1km up to 200km.
Pick a category
Choose from plumbers, electricians, carpenters, mobile mechanics, cleaners and around 60 other trades and services.
Compare businesses
See verified businesses ranked by distance and customer rating, with photos, business hours, reviews and service details.
Get in touch directly
Tap to call, WhatsApp or email the business straight from their profile. LinkLocal never charges customers or takes a cut of the job.
For businesses — a paid subscription
A LinkLocal listing is a software subscription, delivered entirely online.
1. Create your listing
Sign up, add your business details, category, location and contact information, then upload supporting documents such as company registration, ID and trade credentials.
2. Choose your plan
Basic at R50 per month (or R500 per year), or Featured at R100 per month (or R750 per year). Subscriptions renew automatically and you can cancel any time from your dashboard.
3. We verify you
Our team manually reviews every submission — usually within one business day. We do not publish unverified businesses.
4. Your listing goes live
On approval your profile is published immediately on the website and in the app. You get dashboard access to edit your profile, upload photos, publish specials and reply to reviews.

Delivery, billing and support
The service is delivered digitally and immediately on approval — there is no physical product and nothing to ship. LinkLocal can also be added to your phone's home screen from your browser as an app; no separate download is required.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com, the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle handles billing, invoices, tax and refunds. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee — see our Refund Policy. If you cancel, your listing stays live until the end of the paid period.
